Dear Friends,

I am pleased to welcome you to the second year of The King’s Academy’s Clewiston campus and announce the start of the first sophomore class at that location..

In 1970, The King’s Academy had a humble beginning with 196 students in grades junior-kindergarten to eleventh grade in leased facilities at Belvedere Baptist Church in West Palm Beach, Florida.  Soon thereafter, God provided a twenty-acre equestrian facility on Cherry Road which became the permanent home of The King’s Academy and there our school flourished.   In 2005, God blessed us once again.  We left our beloved “old” campus and moved to our current location on Belvedere Road in West Palm Beach.  The “new” campus provided us with adequate room for a larger student body and increased academic and extra-curricular opportunities.  God still had more to accomplish through King’s.  In 2008, The King’s Academy Preschool was established and now has four Preschool satellite locations in Greenacres (2), Palm Beach Gardens and Royal Palm Beach.

Today, King’s serves approximately 1,200 students from age two through twelfth grade.  TKA’s faculty, staff and students remain committed to serving our community and our world to win the lost for Jesus Christ.  I have had the privilege to be a part of TKA from its inception as a student, alumnus, staff, faculty, coach, parent and board member and can personally testify about the miraculous ways that God has blessed King’s over the years.  I am amazed as I look back, remembering the hand of God sustaining TKA for His glory, and I am excited about His magnificent plan to come.

TKA’s early founders envisioned a Christian school that taught God’s word without apology and was able to academically equip students to compete and thrive at any college of university.  As such, they adopted King’s mission statement:

The King’s Academy exists to assist the home and church in their endeavour to “train up a child in the way he should go” (Proverbs 22:6).  Its mission is to graduate Christian leaders who seek to impact their world for the King of King’s through academic excellence and spiritual vitality.

Forty years later, King’s mission has not changed and is one that the King’s faculty and staff seek to achieve each day.

As The King’s Academy moves forward, we are so very thankful that God has now brought us another opportunity to reach young lives for the King of King’s.  I hope you will join me in celebrating the opening of The King’s Academy-Clewiston for students in grades 7th through 9th this fall, 2010.  Our first graduating class is expected in the spring of 2014.

Please browse our website to learn more about the educational opportunities that will be available for students of The King’s Academy-Clewiston.

Sincerely In Christ,

Yours for Christian education,

Signed_Loveland
